A plein air piece, I painted this overlooking Hana Bay enjoying the play of the waves against the black, rock-sand shore.  The rocks rounded smooth from the wave action,  roll and chatter as the waves hit them.  I loved the breeze and the motion of the palms.  Distant rocks outside the bay the waves were crashing hard.
