This was the scene out my bedroom window when we relocated to the cottage for a year while the house was being remodeled.  I imaginged the water I could have seen if the trees were not in the way!  Stately palms reaching into the lightening sky, banana tress and ginger all around.  I can hear the birdsong as I look at the painting, they were in full voice as I was painting.
