I did a series of paintings of the popular Banyan Tree in Lahaina.  This version, an original oil painting, was offered for sale when the Tree turned 150 years old, as it did in 2023. It barely escaped being burned in the fire - I took it home from the gallery to enjoy it myself for a while.  So grateful I did. 
 
The original went to Texas and will belong to a little girl when she is old enough.  A thoughtful present from her grandfather. He also paid double for the painting so I could donate to the Lahaina causes after the wildfire.  Done.
