This was from a Plein Air painting day in Lahaina.  I was across the street from the elementary school painting a demonstration while showing my art at Maui Hands.  The palm was lit up by a high sun, and the clouds were becoming backlit on an approaching sunset.  Clouds were building out toward Lana'i and the palm tree was just enjoying the day swaying in the breeze.
