Ho'okipa  is the Mecca for windsurfers and surfer and kite surfers.  The dawn was breaking and pushing the morning clouds with their heavy moisture away from the ocean. Lifeguards set out the flags to alert beach goers to the surf conditions. The light was soft and the breeze gusty. Pu'u Koa'e is in the horizon as is Molokai.
