The view upcountry in the spring is filled with the purple colors of the Jacaranda trees.  Every turn in the road is a new vista rolling out before you.  This was a spot near Kula, not sure exactly where.  I met up with my plein air painting group on a Wednesday so about 6-7 of us were painting the scene from different angles and with our own take on it.  I actually scrapped off the canvas a couple times before I was satisfied with my rendition. Plein Air and studio work.
