The day was delightfully warm to invite swimming well into the later afternoon and cocktail hour.  I was sitting on the shore of Ulua Beach with the famous snorkle reef off to the right, trying to paint the scene.  It was a challenge but I loved the path of the sun on the water and the silouettes of the swimmers and child playing with his dad.   My reference photo could not capture any of the color with the sun right in my face.  So glad I could capture it in paint.  This painting sold right off the easel before I was done.
