"Hideaway" - Yes, Please!

It's whale season, it's cold everywhere on the mainland but not on Maui right now (ok, we do have rain, it's below 70 degrees and I have my slippers on, I'm a wimp).
What does this lead to? Lots of visitors. I love getting a chance to meet up with my past/present collectors/friends since this is the season to get off the mainland. And where are we meeting this month if not in my home studio?

Where is The Hideaway? It took over the location of Pita Paradise and rumor has it they share the same great fisherman and fresh fish is central to their menu. Skip Monkeypod which is next door - though lovely and the location of my favorite burger on Maui - and come over here. It is MUCH quieter and relaxed here. You can actually talk and have a conversation. Hello!
The Hideaway by Aloha Prime was created by the family behind Aloha Prime Eatery. Led by Chef Allen Rimorin, the menu highlights Hawaiian Regional Cuisine with a focus on high-quality ingredients and bold island flavors, featuring signature dishes like Ahi Bruschetta, pictured here, and slow-roasted Prime Rib - which is EXCELLENT. Recently achieving an Honorable Mention for Best Food Truck by the ʻAi Pono Awards, The Hideaway brings that same award-recognized food into a relaxed indoor dining room and inviting patio. Comfortable and very welcoming by its environment and staff, designed as a place where we can gather for great food, genuine hospitality, and an easygoing Wailea dining experience. Bob and Deb, previous art photo contest award winners and art collectors, are with us giving the new dining experience a try - with great wines as usual. They loved it, too.
Right now it is BYOB, and if you know Maui, who knows how long approval can take - but take that as a great opportunity to pick your favorite beverage and bring it.
What's in this for you? You don't have to leave Wailea to have some great options for lunch thru dinner and post dinner happy hours. And give us a call and we will join you. Hope to see you soon, too, at The Hideaway.
