Art Maui
Maui's vibrant art community sponsors a local exhibit to showcase selected Maui artists. I've participated in the past years and it is a delight to see what the creative minds on Maui come up with. This is a juried show, meaning you have to be selected by a judge to show your art.
I've been working on a piece that is personal to me....
And this image is part of the scene taken a few years ago. If you stay in Wailea and eat pizza, this is your view. If you golf the Wailea Blue Course you definitely see this spot. I'm working from my years of reference photos to catch the feeling of the spot and its beauty.
I'm very close to completion and can't show much before the jury process but check back soon. I'll know if I'm in or out by the end of the month I think.
