A studio painting using a reference photo from one of my followers who entered my photo contest, with permission- Dom Marino. This is the view at sunset from Kula -Keokea area on Maui looking northwest over the Kealia Ancient Fishponds with the evening clouds blanketing the West Maui Mountains.  The sun has just set with the colors of the sky influencing the land, and water. A pastoral setting- I can hear the birds calling!
