An early morning start gave me time to complete this piece en plein air 95%! I did have to brush out some sand and twigs since it started to blow when I was finishing up. A low reef sits just off the shore and it attracts the honu ( turtles) and the kids with their snorkel gear. Long shadows on the beach in the morning were what caught my eye, with the glistening cool water sparkling in the morning sun. Original Oil: 16 x 20 unframed, giclee prints on paper or canvas.
