"Grand Wailea Seaside Chapel" the inspiration behind this artwork stems from a collaborative, community-driven event: The "Best Maui Photo" Contest hosted in 2026.   The artist's followers voted on a selection of images to determine which one should be brought to life as a painting, and this particular scene was the winning choice. : The original photograph that inspired the painting was captured and submitted by Nancy Pannikkat.
