A plein air piece finished on multiple visits to the beach over  a few weeks awaiting just the right sunset and waves. In the middle of Wailea Beach the honu (turtles) came up on shore- something that does not happen every day on our local beach.  The waves were rolling in and someone placed a lei on the rocks celebrating an anniversary. The light was soft and  so vibrant.
