A plein air painting with my painting group.  We found some shade under the prickly Kiawe trees where the reef meets the sand and trees. The sky was full of fluffy clouds that were delicious to paint as they went by. This is a classic South Maui view. Many visitors to the Andaz, the Wailea Beach Resort- Maui Marriott and the Grand Wailea will immediately recognize this scene as they gaze out to sea.
