Artist in residence month at Maui Hands Lahaina leads me to get to Lahaina early. I find a place that grabs me and sit and paint for a few hours. This gives me a work in progress to discuss with the gallery visitors. Baby Beach, adjacent to Mala Ramp  and Ka'anapali Beach had a super shady tree to shelter me from the bright sun as I captured the calm waters just perfect for the little tadpole-children.
